Technical Dive International's recreational diving division is Scuba Diving International. This organization offers courses for recreational divers interested to learn the sport. The courses range from beginner to advanced, with some courses requiring pre-requisites. Here, we'll discuss the benefits of sdi diving and the courses available. This article also addresses costs. It is recommended that you have at most two or three scuba dive certifications before enrolling in your first class.
sdi diving philosophy
SDI diving philosophy places emphasis on community. Divers from the SDI are not individuals. They have formed a community that supports diving. SDI divers are committed to helping each other become better divers, regardless of whether they're sharing information or providing support. This philosophy is important because it focuses on continuous learning. Here are some examples:

Offers Courses
SDI diving courses can be taken by anyone who wants to become a certified diver. The Open Water Diver Course introduces divers to the five specialties and allows for exploration of the waters up to 40 meters. These courses can be done in one or more dives. A limited-penetration course is also available, which requires only three dives. It doesn't matter which course you choose, it will be well worth the effort.
Prerequisites for sdi diving courses
Prerequisites for SDI diving courses are dependent on the level of certification desired. For example, a certified diver must have completed the Open Water Scuba Diver course. As a SDI Assistant Instructor, a certified diver can further their skills by adding this advanced training. They are qualified to supervise certified divers. SDI instructors can supervise certified divers and also learn the basics of diving.
Diving courses at a reasonable cost
Open water and advanced diving are the main types of SDI courses. Typically, advanced divers complete four specialty courses and log 25 dives in total. Students may choose to take Night Diver, Drysuit Diver or Deep Diver depending upon the course. In most cases, a student can complete all four specialties in the same dive course. This saves money and allows students to choose which specialty they want, depending on their preferences and financial budget.

Online sdi diving course
An online SDI course will teach you all the basics and give you confidence to do solo dives. Safety and proper planning are key components of the course. This includes personal limits and emergency procedures. You will learn the benefits and risks of diving alone, as well as how to use your equipment and set it up properly. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn underwater photography and videography.
