A introductory course for those who are interested in diving is a great option. This course is also called a buceo (or baptism by water) and is an excellent choice for those who have little to no experience or those who have limited time. The course can be completed at 12 metres. However, you will need to have a qualified instructor. If you decide to take any additional classes, you can upgrade to the next level, such as a Rescue or Advanced open water certification.

Listed below are the differences between these levels. Read on to find out more about these different levels.
Rescue diver
There are three Rescue Diver diving certificate levels: recreational, technical and dive leader. International Standards Organisation (ISO) sets the standards for these levels. This training is based on BS EN14413-2:2004 and ISO 24801-1;2004. Level-one instructors have the ability to instruct recreational divers. They can also assess their knowledge up until level one and plan and manage dives. They are also trained to teach rescue activities and lead other divers in open water.
Cave-1 class
An instructor must have minimum 40 hours of experience and academic instruction to be certified as a cave diver. Course content includes information on hazards and the challenges of the environment, standard procedures and emergency procedures. During their cave course, students are tested on their skills. There are two parts to the course: academics and water-based activities. Students are required to pass an exam and demonstrate their competence by passing a quiz. The cave diving course requires that the student complete a manual.
