Preparation for diving in open water

Open water courses may take between a few hours and a few days. Open water courses can last from a few hours to a few days depending on the type of course, your chosen dive centre, and how long you have available. Most courses last from three to seven days, but if you're short on time, you can complete all four theory chapters online. Additionally, you will learn about the equipment that is required to safely dive in open waters.

Used wetsuits

Divers will wear wetsuits when they are open-water diving. They keep the body cool by allowing a thin layer water to surround the wearer. The wetsuit will keep you warm even if it is in a cooler environment than your skin. If properly cared for, a wetsuit should last several years.

Open water diving has many benefits

There are many benefits to diving in the open sea, but not many people realize the physical and mental benefits. One, sun exposure increases Vitamin D levels and endorphins. These are important hormones that can help us live longer and be healthier. We also experience reduced blood pressure thanks to increased endorphin levels.
