How to Become a Master Diver in the United States Navy

The United States Navy master diver is the highest level in the diving industry. Enlisted persons have the greatest depth of knowledge, experience and training regarding all aspects and salvage. At least 15 years' experience is required to become a master diver. You also need to have taken a specialization class. A specialization course can help you earn master diver status in the United States Navy.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is an internationally recognized level of scuba diving proficiency. The program is offered by several North American dive training agencies such as the National Association of Underwater Instructors and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. This course is considered the most prestigious level of dive certification. You must be able to dive at least 30 feet underwater during the course.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver

If you want to learn more about scuba diving and are looking to advance your skills, the NAUI Master Scuba Diver program might be the right course for you. This course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to organize dives with other divers. You will be able use a compass, recognize pre-panic signs, and perform underwater communications. Additionally, you will learn how to take a dive in unfamiliar locations. This course includes both classroom sessions and open water dives.


NAUI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

Taking the NAUI Enriched Air (NITX) Master Diver course is a great way to expand your diving experience. The course covers many aspects of enriched air diving, including how to mix Nitrox and oxygen. Students will learn to analyze the air mixture, how nitrogen and oxygen work together, and what hazards can be expected when handling each gas. In addition, they'll learn the concept of Equivalent Air Depth and common gas mixing techniques. An open water diver can also take the enriched course. It is a prerequisite for using the enriched mixture.

NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver

It is necessary to complete the required courses in order to fulfill your dream of becoming an NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Master Diver instructor. This certification is a requirement for the NAUI FIT training course. You will be able to become a professional NAUI instructor or leader. The Try Scuba program is the best way to start. This program will teach you all the skills and knowledge needed to safely dive open water.

NAUI First Aid Course

NAUI First Aid training for master divers will equip you with the skills to deal with a range of emergencies that can occur in water. Refresher sessions are included, as well as information on the latest First Aid standards. NAUI First Aid will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to rapidly respond to an immediate emergency. The course is also uniquely hands-on, allowing you to practice the skills that you learn in the classroom.
