
White Point dive is one of the most interesting dive sites in LA. It has white bacterial mats along the bottom and is close to the hypo-thermal hotsprings. You will also find an old shipwreck and rock reef at the dive site. These are all common sights. High tide is best for diving.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo, La is a state park located along the southern coast of Los Angeles County, California. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. Divers can enjoy the stunning waters off Leo Carrillo State Park.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island boasts some of the best offshore diving sites. These dive sites can be reached by visiting boats. These dive sites are often rugged and make great hunting and photography spots. These areas also contain healthy kelp plants and purple-colored hydro coral. The visibility is also excellent for Southern California waters.
It is possible to kayak and snorkel on the island. If the weather permits, you can even go tent camping. It is also home to large numbers of pinnipeds such as harbor seals, northern Elephant seals, and California Sea Lions. These animals can also be found in the rocky areas around a sea lion rookery. They are located at many overlooks on island.
Anacapa Island
Anacapa Island has a diverse marine life. The area is home to one of the first Marine Protected Areas in the United States. The area is great for beginners as well as seasoned divers. The water around the island is relatively warm, making it ideal for wetsuit diving. In late summer and autumn, the surface temperatures can reach 70°F (21°C). However, temperatures can fall to a low of 50deg F (10deg C) during the colder months of winter. Using a 7mm wetsuit is recommended. During these months, visibility is usually at least 100 ft (30M).
Access to Anacapa's dive site can be made by charter boats or the Island Packers. There are many dive sites on the Island, including a 40-foot high arch rock. These sites can be viewed by snorkeling gear.

Veteran's park
Veteran's Park in Ocean Drive has a playground with fields. This is a great spot for families to enjoy time together. It is also close to the beaches. The park offers a spectacular view of the ocean on a sunny day. It is open throughout the year and has plenty to offer.
Parking is easy. Veteran's Park, a great place to start your dive adventure, is ideal for first-timers. It's easy to reach with parking and restrooms. A meter is available for checking, and you can also use the outdoor shower to rinse your clothes. The park also has a changing area, but restrooms close at dusk.
