There are many reasons you should take Nitrox certification courses. You can enjoy the excitement of diving with Nitrox. You will also feel more confident diving. Certification courses are offered by several organizations. There are many certification courses: NAUI Enriched Air Nix Diver, PADI Enriched Air Diver; SSI Adventure Diver; and Open Water Diver.
PADI Enriched Air Diver
PADI Enriched Air Diver (EANx), certification is for divers who want to increase their bottom time. This course includes both a classroom session and home study. The EANx course teaches about oxygen content and how to use a scuba Oxygen Analyzer. Also, it demonstrates standard procedures for recording oxygen levels in tanks.
You can prolong the time you can stay underwater with Nitrox-enriched air divers without having to make frequent stops. The air mix has a lower amount of nitrogen, which gives them a greater safety margin. Furthermore, enriched mixes often have 32% to 36% oxygen, which is ideal for diving in shallower waters.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
An enriched air diver certification is a step in the right direction if you are looking to take your diving to the next level. This course teaches the basics of mixing air, the risks associated high oxygen concentrations, and how you can handle the equipment. Additionally, you will learn how to operate a diving computer and analyze the contents in your tanks. Additionally, you will learn how to use a standard air diving table and the Equivalent Water Depthance (EANx). Also, you'll learn about common blending processes for nitrogen/oxygen.
Nitrox, also known by the name Enriched Air, is a type or breathing gas that contains higher levels of oxygen than normal air. The higher oxygen content will allow you to stay underwater longer, without the need for refilling your tank. This is good news for your health, as it alleviates decompression fatigue. Also, enriched air divers have shorter surface intervals.
SSI Adventure Diver
SSI is a recognized international diving organization. The SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification (SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification) is one of the most advanced ratings. This certification requires experience, knowledge, as well as skills. This award requires that you have completed at most 50 dives and four special courses.
The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox program is designed to teach students the knowledge and skills required to dive in restricted visibility. This course teaches divers how to navigate in darkness, use specialized equipment and communicate with their buddy. After completing this course, they will be eligible to apply for the SSI Nitrox Specialty certification.

SSI Open Water Diver
The SSI Open Water Diver certification is internationally recognized. It includes three parts: academic, in-water pool training and multiple open-water diving. This course teaches you how plan and dive with oxygen-enriched air mixes, up to 40%. This can help you increase your bottom time and shorten your surface intervals, and may help you avoid decompression sickness.
PADI and SSI dive centres have different procedures for certifying divers. PADI certifications require you to purchase your manual. With an SSI certificate, however, your card will be issued by the dive center in which you have completed your course. PADI certification centers may also offer temporary cards that you can use as proof of your certification.
