The Halcyon Active Control Ballast System has two ways to position and adjust your weight pockets. One option allows you to place the pockets vertically. Both systems can hold a maximum of 2,6kg. The system is adjustable to your desired weight, and includes an Active Control Ballast (ACB). To maximize your gear's safety and effectiveness, it is important to select the right weight pockets.
Trim weight pocket
A Trim weight pocket is a revolutionary new feature of the Halcyon tank-mounted weight pockets. It allows divers to move up to 10 pounds. It allows divers to shift up to 10 lb. They also counterbalance buoyant effects caused by nearly empty cylinders. Divers can have more bottom time, make less effort, and enjoy diving more.

Active Control Ballast, integrated system
The ACB is a vertically integrated and releasable weight system that holds up to five pounds of weight per pocket. This design makes it easy to place and release. It also doesn't take up too much space on the diver's waist belt. An Explorer Light System can attach to the ACB pockets for increased versatility and safety. Side release buckles prevent accidental lead weight gain and permit quick access when required.
Mounting on a bottle strap
Halcyon's new tank-mounted trim weight pockets encourage optimal weight distribution and promote comfort and stability while diving. They reduce effort, promote in-water stability and encourage the head-up position. The pockets can be mounted on the tank or in the water column. They make it easy for you to balance your cylinder's weight for maximum in-water stability. These are some of the benefits and disadvantages of tank-mounted weight pocket.
Heads-up surface airway protection
The Halcyon Trim Weight Pocket from the manufacturer is an ingenious invention. It promotes in-water stability and weight distribution. This feature can be used by divers to transfer weight from their waists to their cylinders, improving horizontal trim as well as propulsion. This feature can increase the enjoyment of diving by extending bottom time. Additionally to moving weight from the waist into the cylinder, Halcyon Trim-Weight Pockets reduce the negative effects of nearly empty cylinders. The pockets also make it easier to maintain the head and maintain horizontal position.

Cost
Halcyon weight pouches are an excellent option for divers looking to improve their diving performance and/or to distribute weight evenly. These pockets can be slipped over the tank's cam bands, and offer a safe place to store additional weight. These pockets can hold up to 5 lbs of ballast depending on what tank you have. Although the cost of Halcyon's weight pockets will vary by brand, they are very affordable.
