Scuba eLearning, an online learning platform for professionals and educators, is a form of education. Scuba eLearning also includes engaging and prescriptive reviews about scuba techniques and principles. There are two important components to the eLearning: knowledge review via ReActivate eLearning and refresher training with PADI Professional. Divers who successfully complete the ReActivate program receive a new certification card, with a ReActivated date. Divers who have successfully completed the program at another training agency may receive a Recognize Card for ReActivate. ReActivate includes several scenarios and 20 main sections.

PADI eLearning is an internet based (online) form of study

PADI eLearning is the same as the traditional classroom course, except that the program is delivered over the Internet. Both the course content and instructor procedures are the same. There are however some differences. The eLearning programs are not as detailed and comprehensive as traditional classroom courses. This means that students need to have an understanding of computers as well as Internet technology in order for them to benefit. The online courses can be used for anyone, regardless of their method.

To enroll in online classes, you will need to use your PADI eLearning username. PADI requires that each student create an email account. This account can be used at no cost. For your eLearning materials to be delivered, you will need a valid email address. To be able to receive your temporary card and your actual cards, you must have your PADI certification training record. An older photo of you from prior PADI certification courses is also acceptable.

PADI eLearning relies on assessment, remediation training, and response scoring. The online course includes Quick Quiz-Self Assessments (QQAs), which appear after each material segment. Answering a short quiz requires the student to choose an answer. If the student answers incorrectly, they are shown the correct answer. They are then directed to the appropriate section.
