Choosing a Dive Regulator

The regulator regulates the diving diver's breathing gas pressure. Although this is often the case, regulators can also control pressures of other gases used in diving. The second stage of a regulator for diving can be called the alternate stage. The regulator's cylinder is attached to the tank. The diver will breathe through it to keep him comfortable underwater.

Scuba regulators

Scuba regulators are an essential part of a scuba diving system. They regulate the amount of air delivered to the diver, allowing him or her to breathe comfortably and easily. They can also stop or start air delivery below water. The regulator has a purge button that allows the diver access to the water-filled chamber to release air and clear it if needed.

Alternate Second Stage

The regulator of a diver has two distinct parts. They are the primary stage as well as the alternate second stage. The primary stage provides air for the diver and the secondary stage replenishes that air. The alternative stage can either be a less-efficient or better performing model. It can perform the same function as the primary stage, but is not as effective.

Balanced regulator

The Balanced dive regulator is a versatile and efficient scuba diving regulator that delivers breathing gas to the diver with minimum effort. The Diver's Choice is the Balanced dive regulator, thanks to its innovative design and high-quality materials.

DIN valves

When it comes to choosing a dive regulator, one of the most important features to consider is the valve type. Typically, you will find two different types: Yoke valves and DIN valves. A Yoke valve's O-ring fits into a threaded connector on the tank valve. An O-ring on a DIN valve fits into a threaded connector on the regulator’s first stage.

Swivel joint hose adaptor

Divers will find a wide variety of accessories for their regulators, such as the swivel joints hose adaptor. It makes it easy to route the regulator's hose in an efficient manner, and helps reduce jaw stress. This accessory allows you to share your air with your buddy. These accessories are easy to use and must be rinsed after every dive.

Regulators sealed for environmental protection

There are many options when it comes choosing an environmentally sealed diving regulator. These regulators have many benefits, making them a great choice for people who like to dive in cold waters. Among them is their corrosion-resistant design, which can be achieved by using zirconium over brass. Many of these products have an integrated environmental seal and a large button for purging. Some models come with a lifetime limited warranty.
