Popular diving spots include the Molasses Reef's south section. You will see large grouper sharks, eels and tarpon here. This dive site is protected by the Sanctuary Preservation Area. Fishing is strictly prohibited. Molasses Reef got its name from the fact that here was a wrecked ship, the SS Slobodna. This was a ship carrying cotton back to Europe.

M/V Phoenix is equipped with two diving ladders, fresh water showers and storage space. It can accommodate up to 40 divers. Southpoint Divers doesn't take in more than 27 divers.
