There are several good scuba diving sites in St Lucia. These include Anse Chastanet, Trou Diable, and Anse Cochon North & South. The plateau is a good spot for drift diving because of the strong currents that run over the plateau. This area will have large shoals for fish and nurse sharks.

Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet is a popular spot for scuba diving in St Lucia. You will find unusual marine life here. It is home to more than 150 species of fish and stretches to 20 to 140 feet deep. It is also a popular spot for underwater photographers.

The Anse Chastanet resort lies in an idyllic location near the Pitons. Since opening in 1968, the resort has expanded to include 48 rooms and beautiful views over the surrounding area. It's located between two ridges, and a steep hillside, which gives it a stunning location.

Anse Chastanet is the ideal place to enjoy scuba diving on St Lucia. Guests have the option to take advantage the resort's custom-built trails or take yoga classes. They can also sail the resort’s sailing yacht at sunset. Trou Diable is a great place to go scuba diving in St Lucia. This dive site is 40 feet deep and features an amazing coral reef. Divers can circle the reef from 100 feet under the surface to see many tropical fish and turtles.

Anse Cochon North & South

Anse Cochon North & South Reef offer two sites for scuba divers, located between these islands. Both sites are easily accessible from the beach. They range in depth from 10 to 40ft. These dive sites are perfect for both beginner and intermediate divers. Although the coral is more abundant on the northern side, there are many reef fish at the other end. Expect to see trumpetfishes, sea whips and eels as well as octopus.

The Lesleen M, an old cargo ship that was built in Anse Cochon's south end, is now an artificial reef. It was sunk by the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia in 1986. The seagrass bed that surrounds the wreck attracts many fish species. Barracudas and stingrays might be found on the wreck. It was intentionally sunk as a dive spot.
